The Property
Le Sette Valli is a fully renovated, unique yet authentically Apulian home, consisting of a villa of typical mid-1900s Apulian architectural style, with vaulted ceilings in all rooms, attached to a trullo, a structure unique to region, likely built in the mid-1800s. The home sleeps up to 7 people, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and could be suitable for two small families. Le Sette Valli is nestled on the slope on one hectare (six acres) of terraced land belonging to the property, immersed in nature with both a valley and sea view.
Outdoor Living
As life in Puglia is centered on outdoor living, Le Sette Valli also features a heated plunge pool, an outdoor dining and food prep area, and a pergola on the roof, all dramatically surrounded by the local stone and boasting a view of the sea and surrounding valley.
Experience Puglia
Le Sette Valli is perfectly located to explore amazing Puglia from the heart of the fertile and verdant Valle d'Itria. Le Sette Valli is located in Laureto, 15 minutes to beautiful beaches while set high on the stunning hillside of the “Murge Plateau” and 7 minutes to the forests of oaks, pine, chestnut and cypress at Selva di Fasano. Locorotondo and Fasano are a few minutes drive from Le Sette Valli, while the beaches and sea-side restaurants of Savelletri and Egnazia are only 15 minutes away as is Michelin-starred Due Camini Restaurant.
The home is 20 minutes from Monopoli, Alberobello, the baroque towns of Cisternino, Martina Franca, and the beautiful beaches of Torre Canne and Capitolo. Meanwhile, Polignano a Mare and Ostuni are 30 minutes away. The small center of Laureto, with café, pizzeria, and grocer, is within a few minutes walking distance (note: part of the pathway is unpaved and there is a set of stairs up the hillside). We are about 40 minutes to Brindisi airport and “un’oretta” (just under an hour) to Bari and its airport.
Design
The renovation project, completed in mid-2020, was led by Italian Architect Massimo Brambilla, an expert in restoration with great attention to maintaining the authenticity of the villa and trullo and its local materials, while completely modernizing the home’s kitchen, bathrooms, climate control, and lighting, and respecting the unspoilt nature and “macchia mediterranea” that surrounds the property.
